Vegemi App! + Updates Announcement

Launched in 2022, the Vegemi app is the thriving hub of Vegemi’s adventures. Over 10,000 users have joined Vegemi there and its use spans homes, education*, retail* and other settings* internationally! (*licences required for public use)

 

The Vegemi App is a pivotal component of the Vegemi experience, whereby children can visualise, connect and spend time with Vegemi and his fruit and veggie superpowers.

 

The Vegemi App is in continuous development and this month we’re very excited to be sharing the launch of 6 new fruits and vegetables, and a brand new superpower! -more to be read on those below.

 

Available from both the App Store and Google Play, the Vegemi App is free to download. But for those of you who haven’t had the joy of experiencing the app yet, here is our whistle stop tour of what you can find on the Vegemi App. 

 

Let’s Introduce Vegemi! 

Before we begin, we’ll allow Vegemi to introduce himself! Children receive the same introduction on the app.

 

Virtual Reality

Vegemi’s key focus is on providing an innovative and exciting virtual reality experience for children. Through using the device camera, Vegemi recognises and eats the fruits and vegetables on your plate, together with you!

 

Currently this feature works with 15 fruits and veggies, with a further 6 arriving this month! Taste apples, cucumbers, broccoli, peas and more with Vegemi! What’s your favourite?

 

But of course, the most exciting part is still to come. Having eaten a fruit or vegetable on your adventure together, Vegemi gains a cool superpower. Each is relative to the real nutrient content and verified EU health claims, which provides a child-friendly and engaging way to connect the health benefits of fruits and vegetables with our own health.

 

Each superpower provides a token for you to collect and store in the home! Power up with the Superpowers of Strong Muscles, Peaceful Stomach, Clever Brain and others! 

 

Our superpowers are designed to provide a holistic nutrition and health education. That’s why we’re also delighted to launch Vegemi’s newest superpower, the Superpower of Sparkling Smiles this month which ​​will newly support dental health education for children interacting with Vegemi. 🦷

Fruits and Veggies

Importantly, for those children who aren’t quite ready to taste the fruits and veggies in real life yet or who just want to keep Vegemi full and healthy more often, Vegemi can also be fed from a virtual menu.

 

This task provides familiarity with the fruits and veggies, a teaser of the superpower, and a little energy – which can help children to build up the courage to taste it themselves, together with Vegemi.

Mini Game Worlds

Once Vegemi is fed and full, his energy is raring to go! With the energy bar full, you can move onto Vegemi’s superpower worlds, where exciting minigames await you. 

 

Start with the video to learn all about the superpower and the fruits and vegetables Vegemi needs to activate his superpower. 

 

Currently you can complete Vegemi’s Brain and Strong Muscles World’s, with 3 challenging levels to conquer together with Vegemi! 

Parents

For the grown-ups, the Vegemi app features information about each of Vegemi’s favourite fruits and vegetables; the vitamins and minerals they contain, how they link to each superpower and the benefits to us humans.
